About Maxx Sunglasses

To The Maxx!

Maxx Sunglasses are a family owned company. In 2004 Rick and Nancy Milner started Maxx Sunglasses out of Monument, Colorado. Their humble beginnings consisted of selling their glasses from underneath bright yellow tents and trailers. Word of mouth brought more customers to them as word spread of their incredible HD lenses that customers insisted improved their golf games. Rick brought these amazing sunglasses to the golf courses and pro shops, while Nancy worked from home packing orders and shipping them across the United States.

By 2007 their son Bret had joined the business, which by then had grown too large to operate out of their family home. They opened their first facility in Monument and launched their website, again increasing their business dramatically.

Maxx Sunglasses have enjoyed press coverage in publications such as Golf Illustrated, Golf Fitness magazine, Dealer News, Florida Golf Central and Colorado Avid Golfer.

Let’s take a look at how the Maxx HD (high definition) lenses work. Contrast is improved and enhanced with these lenses as the scattered blue light that causes objects to appear flat is reduced. Blue light waves are what make any blue object appear blue, including the sky. These waves are short and scatter easily, meaning much of the glare we see from sunlight is also from blue light. By reducing the blue light, the result is a more defined field of vision and bright vibrant colors. Glare and haze is eliminated for a relaxed comfortable experience.

Maxx Sunglasses come in a wide range of categories:

Golf – The Maxx Golf Collection features extended lenses, with no peripheral distortion, high definition lenses, no slip rubber nose grips, ultra light frames, and 100% UV protection. Color, frame, and material choices abound.

Rider – The Maxx Rider Collection is built with the rider in mind. This collection includes some goggle designs, with a dense foam and tight fit for great wind resistance. Anti fog lenses and a secure strap option make them a great choice for the avid rider.

Fishing and Boating – All Maxx HD fishing sunglasses are fitted with polarized lenses to eliminate the glare off the water. Fisherman can actually see down in to the water with polarized lenses and watch for schools of fish.

Lifestyle – The Maxx Lifestyle Collection is their everyday collection. Several style choices are available for men and women at an affordable price, with such features as lightweight frames, rubber arms to grip your face, and full mirrored lenses.

Pro Sports MLB – Choose to represent your favorite Major League Baseball team with these sleek stylish lenses available in Adult and Junior sizing. These sporty glasses are sure to score a home run with the baseball fan in all of us. Adults sizes come in three different styles, and Juniors have two to choose from.

Maxx Sunglasses have come a long way since their humble beginnings in 2004, and now have over 10,000 contracts under their belt. They are one of America’s fastest growing private companies, and show no signs of slowing down.
